Price it
Weight and purity against the live metal market, priced at the rates you set. The buyer sees a number to work from, not a blank field.
Price the piece with your own numbers, take the seller's ID, and pay out. It is in your inventory, priced and photographed, before they reach the door.
At the counter
One ticket carries the piece, the price, the seller, and the payout. Nothing gets written twice and nothing walks out unrecorded.

Scan the back of a licence and the details fill in. Intake checks Do Not Buy and files the completed buy with LeadsOnline.
Split cash, check, and store credit. Send the piece to scrap or into your inventory with a SKU and cost attached.
Value types
You set what the shop pays once in Settings. Every line comes back with a suggested payout, so a new buyer prices a chain the same way the owner would.
Weight and purity against live gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, nickel, and zinc. Your spot categories decide how far under the metal you buy.
A coin sheet you own. Set what you pay and what you list at across every coin, or override a single one.
Hand-priced pieces. Turn on comps and a buyer records the sold listings behind the number.
Only admins change the rates. Buyers can move a line before it is paid out, and the piece is priced for resale on the same markup.

Compliance
Take the seller's ID once and the buy carries its own record: who sold it, what you paid, and when the piece can be listed.
Connect your store's own account and completed buys file on their own, piece photos included.
Scan the back of a driver's licence with a Bluetooth scanner and the name, address, and ID details fill in. Expired ID is flagged before you buy.
Taking an ID runs a Do Not Buy check through your LeadsOnline account, before the buy is finished. A match flags that customer as high risk, on the buy and on their customer record.
You can sell the piece at the counter the moment you buy it, and it goes up on the website when its hold is up. Each store sets its own hold, and you can release a piece early.
How it works
Intake is an app for Shopify, the software that runs the register, the website, and the checkout for millions of stores. Starting a Shopify store takes an afternoon, and Intake installs into it in a click.
01
Add Intake to your Shopify store, then set what you pay, your payment methods, and who on staff is an admin.
02
Add the piece, take the ID, split the payout, and complete with a staff PIN. It runs in a browser, so the counter can be a Mac, a PC, an iPad, or a phone.
03
The piece becomes a product with a SKU, its cost, and its photos. Sell it at the counter that day, or online when its hold is up.
Shopify runs the selling. Intake runs the buying. Together they are the whole shop: your rates, your counter, your record.
